PROJECT OF NARRATIVES OF HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDERS OF MIGRANTS ON THE NORTHERN BORDER OF MEXICO

Do you defend the human rights of migrants in Baja California?

We are currently working as a team with a group of local artists to carry out a self-representation project for the community of migrant human rights defenders in the Baja California region, based on 4 axes of expression so that its members can tell their stories.

The first axis consists of digital narratives where they can tell their life stories and defense of migrants through the creation of short audiovisual shorts told from their perspective and in their own words, supported by a production team.

The second axis is a collective mural to be carried out with local artists to publicize the work that occupies the community.

The third axis is a book where the stories of how they became defenders of migrants’ human rights will be told.

In the fourth axis they will also be able to participate in a documentary that will show the realization of all the axes and who are the defenders of human rights of the migrants that make up the community of the northern border in Baja California.

It is a project to value the work that civil society does daily, to celebrate the existence of our community and our reasons for doing what we do.
