Alma Migrante seeks to strengthen and diversify the defense and advocacy actions of the community of migrant rights defenders in Baja California. We are a growing organization seeking funding from partner organizations and private donors to support our efforts.
COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS
As part of our Design and Implementation of Access to Justice Strategies in the Community program, we deliver workshops that provide defense and self-identification tools to migrant rights defenders in Baja California.

LITIGATION
We design litigation strategies to combat the abuse of power in Mexican courts and promote the international standard to protect the right of access to justice for migrants and their defenders in the region.

REFUGE
Our team of specialists supports refugee status applicants by initiating and monitoring their procedures before COMAR. This program is not yet funded.

THE SOUL OF A MIGRANT DEFENDER
This project is a cultural and artistic platform to strengthen the voice of migrant defenders in Baja California, providing them with four self-representation tools, namely: digital narratives, collective murals, a book of their stories, and a documentary.
