DOF 03/28/22: Resources for actions in favor of migrant children

Baja California will receive federal resources for actions in favor of migrant children through the System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF).

The coordination agreements for the transfer of these resources that will be allocated to social assistance centers operated by the DIF were published by the Ministry of Health in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on March 28, 2022.

Coordination AGREEMENT for the transfer of federal resources as subsidies, for the strengthening of institutional actions in the matter of migrant children, social assistance centers, assistance establishments and authorized places, which operate the state DIF systems, in terms of the Law of Social Assistance, the General Law of the Rights of Children and Adolescents, the Migration Law and the Law on Refugees, Complementary Protection and Political Asylum, which celebrate the National System for the Integral Development of the Family and the System for the Integral Development of the Family of the State of Baja California (Municipality of Tijuana-Migrant Sanctuary).
