Evelia has become a crucial member of the organization as a civilian representative of human rights defenders and an enemy of injustices.
Evelia joined Alma Migrante in October 2019. She is originally from Guadalajara, daughter of migrants, and a Tijuana resident of 15 years. Evelia closely knows the most vulnerable sectors in Tijuana and Rosarito. From that experience, she supports the cases of refugees or people in the process of gaining refugee status.
